Wort's key features are being able to hit random enemies three times, and apply [[Stats#Debuffs|Shroom]] with each hit. As part of a [[:Category:Shroom Cards|Shroom]] build, Wort's ability to target farther back enemies with Shroom can help clear them out. With other builds, this ability may not multiply as much, though is helpful when combined with other buffs or effects such as [[Stats#Buffs|Spice]] or [[Stats#Debuffs|Snow]].
Wort can quickly inflict a good amount of {{Stat|Shroom}}, but this is somewhat limited by {{Keyword|Aimless}}. However, they can still chip down backline enemies and can stack a lot of Shroom if there is only one enemy in the row. Wort also scales well with {{Stat|attack}} boosts and {{Stat|Spice}} thanks to their innate {{Stat|Frenzy}}, whereas most other Shroom-related cards do not.  


[[Fungo Blaster]] pairs well with Wort, especially when higher amounts of Shroom are involved, as any Shroom stacked on a killed card will be applied to another card.
Since Wort will likely weaken backline enemies by a good amount, have some [[Items]] or {{Keyword|Barrage}} cards handy to pick them off so that Wort doesn't overkill them by randomly inflicting more Shroom than is necessary. The {{Card|Fungo Blaster}} helps prevent overkill by preserving all Shroom on the board, but it will still not make up any overkill damage dealt by excessive Shroom.

Wort is a Companion that the player can bring along on a run. They are exclusive to the Snowdwellers Tribe

Strategy

Wort can quickly inflict a good amount of Shroom.png Shroom, but this is somewhat limited by Aimless. However, they can still chip down backline enemies and can stack a lot of Shroom if there is only one enemy in the row. Wort also scales well with Attack.png attack boosts and Spice.png Spice thanks to their innate Frenzy.png Frenzy, whereas most other Shroom-related cards do not.

Since Wort will likely weaken backline enemies by a good amount, have some Items or Barrage cards handy to pick them off so that Wort doesn't overkill them by randomly inflicting more Shroom than is necessary.
