Nutshell Cake is an item players may accumulate over a run. This item is exclusive to the Snowdwellers Tribe.
Strategy
The Nutshell Cake increases the target's effective health by 7 (9 Shell minus the 2 health it takes), but be aware of the target's health when using it; if they have 2 or less health, the Nutshell Cake will leave them at 0 health and kill them immediately, regardless of the Shell. Humorously, this also allows it to kill an enemy at 2 or less health in a pinch.
Chompom has just enough health to survive the Nutshell Cake and gets a huge boost to their damage output, dealing a whopping 12 damage every 3 turns.
Interactions
Charms and effects that increase a card's numerical effects apply to all the card's effects. This means that the 
Lumin Ring is basically useless for the Nutshell Cake, since it will take 1 additional health while giving 1 additional Shell. However, effects that multiply the Nutshell Cake's effects will still be worthwhile, such as the 
Critical Charm. Using the Nutshell Cake whilst it is attached with 
Strawberry Charm will completely negate the health decrease, along with adding 2 Health to all allies.
