Spice
Spice is a buff applied by some Snowdweller cards. It increases the affected card's attack. After the card attacks, all its Spice is cleared (unless the Pepper Flag is active).
Information and Strategy
Spice allows a card to inflict a huge burst of damage one time. Like other attack boosts, it is most effective when granted to cards with Frenzy or Barrage, as it persists through a full set of Frenzy attacks and applies to all targets hit by Barrage.
Spice Interactions
Frost decreases the affected card's attack until its next attack. If a card has both Frost and Spice, they are summed together. For instance, a card with 3 attack, 2 Frost, and 5 Spice has an effective attack of 6.
Frost and Spice are removed at the same time when a card finishes attacking, with one specific exception. A card that has gained Frost as the result of its own attack (such as by hitting The Ringer) will only lose the Frost it already had before it began attacking. Any Frost gained due to its attack will persist until it next triggers and attacks. This is not the case with Spice; a card that gains Spice as the result of its attack (such as by hitting King Moko) will lose all its Spice once it finishes attacking, including any newly-gotten Spice. This interaction is particularly important for cards with Frenzy, as Spice and Frost are multiple times as important for these cards.

Trivia
- Although cards without attack cannot be affected by Spice, they can still be affected by Frost. The Frost does not impact their effects, however.
- This is valuable in the fight with The Frost Shades, as The Ringer may randomly inflict Frost on a card with no attack, thus wasting its Frost.
