The Ringer is the miniboss that the player encounters in the fight against The Frost Shades.

Activating the Titan Bell will cause an upgraded version of it to spawn. Its upgrade is randomly selected from the list:

• Battle Charm
• Heart Charm
• Sun Charm
• Moose Charm
• Raspberry Charm

Strategy

The Ringer can randomly inflict Frost when hit, making it difficult to rush down and defeat before it can attack. 5 damage is a good amount in the early game, so save a Clunker, Shade, or high- health Companion to take the hit. Having a bigger board presence also makes the Frost less likely to affect key offensive Companions.
