Bolgo is the miniboss that the player encounters in the fight against The Shelled Husks.

Activating the Titan Bell will cause an upgraded version of it to spawn. Its upgrade is randomly selected from the list:

• Acorn Charm
• Shield Charm

Strategy

Bolgo starts out with respectable attack and a short Counter, but it gains even more attack whenever hit by anything. It has enough health and Shell that it's difficult to take it down before it inflates its attack (especially if Shell Witches give it more Shell), so Snow is a necessity to stop it in its tracks. Expendable Clunkers and Shades can also take dangerous attacks in a pinch. Inking Bolgo early in the fight will prevent it from gaining attack, but it still deals a good amount of damage at base, so Snow and expendable cards are still useful.

Trivia

As Bolgo loses Shell, its shell in its artwork breaks off gradually, revealing a menacing shadow with a wicked grin underneath.
