Frostbite Shard is an item players may accumulate over a run. This card is exclusive to the Clunkmasters Tribe.
Strategy
The Frostbite Shard's ability to reduce any numerical effect by 1 point may not sound like much, but it can have a huge impact on a battle. Many cards have powerful effects that are balanced around low values, such as 
Infernoko's attack gain in its second phase, the attack increase and reduction from the 
Ice Forge, and the 
Frenzy granted by 
Rockhog. Additionally, it can be used to reduce negative effects on player cards. The 
Tootordion, 
Mega Mimik, and 
Plinker all lose 
Scrap by their own effects, but the Frostbite Shard prevents them from losing any Scrap while still maintaining their other abilities (whereas 
Ink would negate all their abilities and does not last indefinitely).

The 
Frostbite Charm is a Cursed Charm based on the Frostbite Shard, with an identical effect.
