Frenzy
Frenzy is a stat that causes a card to trigger multiple times in a row, attacking and/or using effects multiple times. Some cards innately have Frenzy, while others may gain it by their own abilities or from external sources.
Information and Strategy
Cards with a Counter or Reaction that have no displayed Frenzy (e.g. Snoof) technically have 1 Frenzy, as they trigger one time. 1 Frenzy is simply not displayed since the card does not trigger multiple times. A card with at least 2 Frenzy will trigger that many times in a row, but each trigger behaves according to the same rules as a card without Frenzy. The card attacks the front card in the enemy row (unless it has Barrage, Aimless, or Longshot) in which case it follows the ability's targeting) and uses its effects (if any). This makes Frenzy extremely powerful for cards that inflict debuffs on hit, gain attack, or have some beneficial effect when triggered.
Frenzy Interactions
Frenzy only increases the number of times a card will trigger; activated effects are completely unaffected. For instance, Firefist has an ability that activates when they are hit by anything. If Firefist has gained Frenzy, that ability does not activate multiple times in a row. A card on the field with no Counter or Reaction (e.g. Junkhead and Egg) can gain Frenzy from cards like Krono or Rockhog, but this will have no effect since they cannot trigger.
A card's Frost and Spice will persist through an entire set of Frenzy attacks before clearing, making Spice exceptionally strong on cards with Frenzy. However, if the card gains Frost in the middle of its Frenzy attacks (such as by hitting The Ringer), that Frost will persist through the current attack and the card's next attack. Any Frost that the card already had before it started attacking will be removed as normal. This is not the case with Spice; if a card gains Spice during its Frenzy attacks, it still loses all its Spice once the attack is finished, including all the Spice it had before it attacked.
All Reactions are triggered in between Frenzy attacks if their conditions are met. For instance, if Foxee attacks while a Mimik is in the row, the Mimik will attack in between Foxee's attacks. If Foxee attacks a Spike Wall (which has Smackback), the Spike Wall will counterattack Foxee between the Frenzy attacks. As a result, Frenzy attacks are cancelled if the attacking card becomes inflicted with Snow in the middle of the attack or if it is killed in the middle of the attack (such as by a Reaction, Teeth, or some other damage source).
If a card's Reaction causes it to trigger against a specific target, it will stop attacking if it kills that target partway through Frenzy attacks. However, if that reacting card also has Aimless, Barrage, or Longshot, it triggers against the intended target's entire row instead, so it will keep attacking until it uses all its Frenzy or until all enemies in that row are killed.
The Wild ability activates when a card with Wild is destroyed, granting 1 Frenzy to every card with Wild on the field. This occurs even if the destroyed card is on the opposite team of the Wild card (for instance, if a copy of a Wild card via the Shade Wisp is destroyed). Inflicting Ink on a card with Wild will prevent it from gaining Frenzy if other Wild cards are destroyed, and likewise destroying an Inked card with Wild will not grant Frenzy to other Wild cards.
If a card gains Frenzy while it is in the middle of attacking (such as Blaze Beetles attacking and destroying something), it will not use that newly-gained Frenzy in its current set of attacks.
