Hazeblazer is a Companion that the player can bring along on a run. They are exclusive to the Clunkmasters Tribe.
Strategy
Hazeblazer is the only Companion that can inflict Haze, and other sources have their own caveats: the 
Foggy Brew is single-use due to Consume, the 
Haze Keg has Recycle 2, and the 
Haze Balloon is single-use and doubles the afflicted enemy's attack. However, Hazeblazer themself has the restriction of hurting themself each time they trigger. It isn't the most severe amount of damage, but it adds up and prevents Hazeblazer from fulfilling a defensive role in spite of their good base health. This self-inflicted damage also does not count as them hitting themself, so the 
Heartmist Station and 
Nourish Charm will not activate to heal it. To keep Hazeblazer out on the field as long as possible, bring along healing such as 
Booshu or 
Bonnie to patch them up after each attack.
The 
Lumin Ring doubles the amount of Haze inflicted while only increasing Hazeblazer's self-inflicted damage by 1 point, a very worthwhile trade. The 
Gachapomper lets them make the most of each attack by granting Barrage to hit a whole row. Using Counter-reducing effects like the 
Sun Charm or 
Suncream can be powerful, but Hazeblazer triggering faster will also make them hurt themself more often.
