Items

Item cards are those which assist the player in battle from their hand, providing beneficial effects or dealing damage to enemies.

Items that boost effects or apply buffs can be played on cards on the field or in hand; for instance, Pinkberry Juice can boost the health of any Companion in hand, not just one on the field.

Note: Items without an attack stat do not count as hitting their target, but an attack value of 0 or higher means they will hit a target and activate any on-hit effects. Additionally, if the Item's attack is greater than 0, or it has Aimless or Barrage (or some similar multi-card targeting), it cannot be played on any cards in hand. For instance, the Dragon Pepper can be played on a card in hand, but the Peppereaper and Peppering cannot.
