Hongo's Hammer is an item players may accumulate over a run. This item is exclusive to the Snowdwellers Tribe.

Strategy

Hongo's Hammer inflicts a whopping 7 total damage, with the tradeoff that most of the damage is dealt over time as Shroom. It is a decent damage option even outside a Shroom-focused deck (particularly for taking down Clunkers and enemies with Block), but it is far more effective when actively using a Shroom strategy.

While it's ideal to use Hongo's Hammer in a Shroom deck, giving it the Frenzy Charm or Cake Charm dramatically boosts the total damage dealt and then Consumes it to free up deck space.

Dimona allows Hongo's Hammer to inflict 3 more damage during its first turn by Demonizing the hit enemy and making it take more damage from Shroom at the end of the turn. If the enemy already has some Shroom from other sources, this can deal severe damage.
