Strategy
Since the Blaze Tea increases the target's Counter by a flat 1 turn and grants 1
Frenzy (effectively doubling its damage and/or effects), it is always beneficial if the card's max Counter is greater than 1 and it doesn't already have Frenzy. However, the damage increase is greater for Companions with longer Counters, as the extra 1 turn is a smaller relative amount. For instance, a card going from a Counter of 3 to 4 would attack 25% slower (dealing 0.75 * 2 = 1.5 times the damage), while a card going from 5 to 6 would attack 16.67% slower (dealing 0.83 * 2 = 1.66 times the damage). Companions that have very high
attack or effects when they trigger are the best targets for the Blaze Tea. Anything with Smackback or the Spark Charm can also completely bypass the Counter and get all the benefits of the Frenzy.
In a pinch, the Blaze Tea can be used to buy an extra turn by using it on an enemy. However, that enemy must be taken out quickly afterwards, before it can take advantage of the Frenzy.
