Card Description
Whenever anything is Snow'd, gain equal Attack

Yuki is a Companion that the player can bring along on a run. This card is exclusive to the Snowdwellers Tribe.

Strategy

Yuki can be a win condition in and of themself for a deck that applies enough Snow. Although they cannot take any amount of damage, their attack increases point-for-point whenever Snow is applied to anyone on the board. This means that any cards focused on Snow can be a huge help to Yuki's damage output. Snoffel, for example, applies Snow to all enemies, thus giving Yuki up to 6 additional attack. Another extremely effective card is the Snowcake, giving Yuki a whopping 10 attack on the spot.

Because Yuki's damage potential is so high, any effect that gives them the ability to damage multiple targets at a time (e.g. Gnome Charm, Blaze Tea, Pomegranate Charm if their base attack is increased) drastically increases their effectiveness.

Be warned that Teeth will hard counter Yuki (as they only have 1 health without boosts), and Smackback can do the same if Yuki cannot defeat the enemy in one hit.

Trivia

The snowball in Yuki's card artwork grows progressively larger as their attack increases up to 40, to the point where Yuki is barely visible in the art.
