Achieving combo kills is a way to collect large sums of Bling at once. When the player kills more than one enemy in a single turn, each additional kill rewards 5 Bling multiplied by a rolling total of additional kills: the second kill will award 5 Bling, third would reward 10, fourth rewards 15 and so forth. Bling.png Blings are the currency used in Wildfrost. Blings are used to purchase goods from shops and vendors, and they are collected and spent exclusively during a run. Blings do not persist between runs, so hoarding them in hopes of keeping them for a later run is futile.

Earning Blings

Players can earn Blings in several ways. The most common way is by defeating enemies in battle, although enemies that run away after battle will also drop their Blings. However, enemies in waves that have not entered battle will not drop their Blings. There are also two effects that grant extra Blings when killing enemies: the   Bling Bank is a Clunker that awards extra Blings whenever an enemy is defeated, and the  Bling Charm awards extra Blings whenever the attached card kills another card.

Defeating multiple enemies within the same turn creates a kill combo, which can rack up a lot of extra Blings. Each kill after the first in the turn will drop 5 bonus Blings. For this purpose, a turn starts when the player gains control, and ends when the player next gains control. This means that indirect damage sources like   Shroom and   Teeth still count towards the same combo if enemies were killed directly that turn (such as by an attack or Item).

The   Gobling is a unique enemy that appears in most fights, and it drops 4 Blings when hit by anything. However, it also escapes from the battle when it triggers, giving only a limited window of opportunity to earn Blings from it.

The final way to earn Blings is by visiting Blingsnail Caves on the map. Each cave randomly awards 40 to 80 Blings.

Using Blings

Bling can be spent at The Woolly Snail and the Charm Merchant during a run. Depending on which shop the player visits, they can purchase Items, Charms, or Crowns.

Bling can also be hoarded for cards with Greed, granted by the  Greed Charm. This allows the affected card to deal 1 extra damage per 50 Blings held, and can be devastating when carrying hundreds of Blings or combined with   Frenzy.

Enemy Drops

Every enemy besides   Goblings and the   Naked Gnome drops a base amount of Blings and an additional 0-2 Blings when killed. All minibosses have a base value of 13, as do   Bam and   Boozle. All other bosses have a base value of 27. The table below lists the base values for each non-Boss enemy.
