Smog is an enemy which the player can encounter during a run. It appears in the fight with The Toothy Shades.
Strategy
Smogs make it impossible to prioritize targets with Companions, as they will all gain Aimless (which also causes them to lose Barrage if they have it). However, only three enemies appear in the first wave of the fight, so taking down Marrow is usually more important due to the extra damage from 
Teeth. Play around the Aimless by having damaging Items on hand to deal consistent damage.
