Blunky is a Companion that the player can bring along on a run.
Strategy
Blunky has basically no offensive capability and no health to speak of, but they gain Block whenever deployed. This allows Blunky to negate an entire instance of damage, be recalled, and then be redeployed to block another hit. However, relying on redrawing Blunky is generally not worthwhile unless the player's deck is fairly thin, so a deck packed full of many Items will not be able to make good use.
In addition to blocking hits, Blunky has a rare Counter of just 2, shared with the Naked Gnome, making them useful for breaking down Clunkers or using Charms to quickly apply debuffs.
Blunky can be freely redeployed if they gain Noomlin or if the Zoomlin Nest is active, which helps save turns to play other cards. The Sun Bell of Recall counts down the Redraw Bell to allow them to be drawn quicker.
Since Nova has a Reaction that triggers when a card on the player's field loses Block, Blunky is valuable as a repeatable source of Block to trigger them.
