Egg is a Companion that the player can bring along on a run. Despite having an attack value of 0, they have no counter. This means, even if they were to get buffed with increased damage, there is no way to activate Egg.
Strategy
Egg has two purposes: tank damage and summon Dregg. While Dregg is a heavy-hitting card to deploy, having Egg as a high-health tank in the front line can be just as useful. The key to Egg is knowing when to summon Dregg and switch from tanking damage to dealing damage.
As a card that summons another card when destroyed, keep in mind using this mechanic will half the health of Egg through injury. When relying on this strategy, it is wise to plan on Egg regularly starting with half health.
