Acquisition
The Naked Gnome has a chance to appear in the first battle of a run. If the battle is won with the Naked Gnome still alive, it will offer to join the player after the battle.
Strategy
The Naked Gnome has basically no defensive or offensive capabilities, with just a single point of health and attack. However, its rare Counter of just 2 makes it attack very quickly. With the right status-inflicting Charms, the Naked Gnome can become a genuinely powerful card. The Sun Charm in particular is incredibly potent, making the Naked Gnome attack every single turn.
Trivia
- The allied Naked Gnome is one of only two player cards that have no text box at all (the other being Foxee), as even cards with no effects like Woodhead and Junk have flavor text.
- Similarly, the enemy Naked Gnome is the only enemy card with flavor text.
