Ice Dice are an item players may accumulate over a run.

Strategy

The Ice Dice are tricky to use, as their random nature makes it impossible to predict what their effect will be. Although a stack of Block can theoretically negate an enormous amount of damage, the Ice Dice's unpredictability makes them generally inferior to other Items that consistently give effective health (such as Pinkberry Juice and Shell Shield). Expendable Shades and Clunkers can also reliably block high-damage hits without worrying about randomness.

If trying to give Block to a specific card, use the Ice Dice when there are as few allied cards on the field as possible. While Crowns can serve this purpose, using a Crown to guarantee 1 Block on a card is generally not worthwhile. Make sure to have offensive Items or Companions with Frenzy that can break down the Block given to the enemy, as any card that deals burst damage will be significantly hampered.
