Bom Barrel is an item players may accumulate over a run. This card is exclusive to the Clunkmasters Tribe.
Strategy
The Bom Barrel is a very situational card, as it applies huge Bom to an entire row but also creates a whopping 4
Junk. Having that much Junk without a way to dispose of it can be more trouble than it's worth, especially in a thinner deck. The highest Recycle on a card is Recycle 2, so have some of those prepared before using the Bom Barrel. However, if the deck can win without relying much on Items in hand (perhaps by using multiple Crowns to automatically deploy key cards), the extra Junk flow may be less of a hindrance. As a last resort, it's also possible to use the generated Junk to hit any of the enemies that were inflicted with Bom, as the Junk will deal 4 damage to them.
The Bom Barrel's huge Junk generation is notable when using Crowns to play multiple Recycle cards at the start of battle, creating 4 Junk out of just a single Crown.
Needle can easily destroy all the Junk generated by the Bom Barrel, effectively turning Trash 4 into Draw 4. If the player is running a deck that plays Junk from the hand, such as when using
Mini Mika or
Knuckles, having
Toaster on the field will Consume the Junk when played, preventing it from building up.
