Bling is the currency used in Wildfrost. Bling is used in the game to purchase goods from shops, and is collected and spent exclusively during a run. It is not persistent between runs, and will not carry over to new leaders.
Earning Bling
Players can earn Bling in several ways. The most common way to earn Bling is by defeating Enemies in battles. Each enemy drops a random number of Bling.
Achieving combo kills is a way to collect large sums of Bling at once. When the player kills more than one enemy in a single turn, each additional kill rewards 5 Bling. For this purpose, a turn starts when the player gains control, and ends when the player next gains control. So, Noomlin'd cards and status effects such as Shroom count towards the same combo.
The final way to earn Bling is by visiting Blingsnail Caves on the map. They will reward a random number between 40-80 Bling.
Using Bling
Bling can be spent at shops during a run. They can be used to purchase Items, Charms, or Crowns, depending on the shop visited.
Bling can also be hoarded for cards with Greed. This grants an additional damage per 50 Bling held, and can be devastating when carrying hundreds of Bling or combined with Frenzy.
Enemy drops
Every enemy, except Gobling and Naked Gnome, drops a base value and an additional 0-2 Bling when killed. Minibosses, Bam and Boozle have base value of 13, while every other boss has base value of 27.
The table below roughly details this base value as of v1.0.6
