The Gnome Charm is a strange Charm that can double a card's damage and effects but makes them randomly targeted. It is best used for cards whose damage or effects are so powerful that it doesn't matter what specifically gets hit. The Gnome Charm is also excellent for stat-boosting Items with Crowns, as it is extremely easy to control what is targeted right at the start of battle when cards are first being deployed.

Aimless, Barrage, and Longshot are all mutually exclusive, so the Gnome Charm cannot be given to a card that has any of these abilities (Barrage and Longshot are incompatible, and Aimless would be a redundant keyword). This also gives it a unique interaction with the Gachapomper.png Gachapomper, as the Gnome Charm's Aimless will be overwritten by the Gachapomper's Barrage, effectively giving the card 1 Frenzy.png Frenzy with no drawbacks.

Companions with no Attack.png attack value cannot have the Gnome Charm attached, but this can be circumvented by giving them a debuff-inflicting Charm or the Hook Charm.pngHook Charm, which grants them an attack of 0. However, Items that have no attack value but still are played on a specific target (e.g. Pinkberry Juice.png Pinkberry Juice) can always have the Gnome Charm attached.
