Boonfire Charm is a Charm that the player can collect on a run. This Charm is exclusive to the Shademancers Tribe.

Strategy

2 Overburn is not a large amount, especially since the Boonfire Charm only works once per battle (as it must be attached to a Consume card). As a result, it is best used to defeat multiple weak enemies instead of a single strong one. Having other Companions and Items that can inflict Overburn (particularly Vesta) helps to get more mileage out of the Boonfire Charm. One particular niche it excels in is destroying enemy Clunkers, as they will immediately explode when inflicted with any amount of Overburn.

The Boonfire Charm is uniquely useful during the fight with The Wild Hogs, as all Hogs have 1 health and will immediately explode. This may not be helpful once Razor has appeared, as it will trigger Wild multiple times, but it will clear out the earlier waves with ease and leave only Warthogs that can be easily Snowed.

The Breakfast Sun Bell prevents the player's first card with Consume from being Consumed when played. If the Boonfire Charm is attached to the card that is prevented from being Consumed this way, its effect will not activate. It will still activate normally if that card is played a second time in the battle, as the Breakfast Sun Bell will not prevent it from Consuming itself again.
