Critical Charm is a Charm that the player can collect on a run.

Strategy
The Critical ability is generally too unreliable to be consistently worthwhile throughout a battle. Instead, give the Critical Charm to a Crowned card, as the Critical effect is guaranteed simply by playing all other Crowned cards to the right of the Critical card. Be careful if there's a specific order those cards must be played in, however (such as a 
Spice-granting card and the 
Spice Stones), as the Crowned hand is still drawn in a random order.
The Critical Charm is especially valuable for cards with Consume to get even more value out of them, such as 
Molten Dip or a card with the 
Cake Charm. Since many power-enhancing Charms give the attached card Consume, they cannot be stacked or attached to any card that already has Consume. The Critical Charm is thus one of the few Charms that can boost their effects.
