Shade Slug is a Charm that the player can collect on a run.
Unlock
Win a run without any Charms equipped.
Strategy
The Shade Slug's ability to copy the effect of any Charm gives it huge potential. The Charm that will be most valuable to copy depends on the deck, card, and Charm, but pick a Charm with high impact. Remember that redundant keywords can't be granted if they don't have a numerical component, so copying a Charm like the 
Gnome Charm is not possible, but one like the 
Frog Charm is.
When a card has multiple Charms attached, the one that was applied most recently is the leftmost one.
Trivia
- The Shade Slug bears some resemblance to the
Shade Clay, which also has a copying effect. - Shade Slug is able to set a companion's max
health below 1 if copying a charm that reduces it, such as 
Truffle Charm.
- This will result in the companion dying instantly in hand when drawn and as such should be strongly avoided without another charm available to increase max health.
