The Snowbo Squad is one of the possible first fights a player can run into. The fight is won when the Miniboss, The Snow Knight, is defeated.
Strategy
The battle with the Snowbo Squad is fairly simple, as it's one of the first fights in the run. Snowbos inflict chip damage, but their Aimless means that Companions with very low health like Lil' Gazi may get picked off without warning. Once the Winter Worm appears, hit it with Snow and whale on it so that it is greatly weakened or defeated by the time The Snow Knight enters battle. The Snow Knight deals low damage but attacks quickly, and its damage output increases whenever anything is Snowed (whether by the player or an enemy).
Since it is impossible to have acquired any Companions, Items, or Clunkers outside of the Leader and pet, the Items in the starting deck are key to victory, especially since most enemies can be defeated in just two hits. In particular, defeat Wild Snoolves as quickly as possible to prevent them from Snowing anything. It's not necessary to defeat Gogong with Items, but deal enough damage to it so that it's defeated when attacked and can't counter with Smackback. The Winter Worm deals severe damage and has a lot of health, so if it isn't possible to defeat it before it can attack, use the starting Woodhead, Junjun, or Junkhead to take the hit. When The Snow Knight appears, try to avoid Snowing anything other than it, so that it can't make use of its increased attack.
