The Wild Hogs
The Wild Hogs is one of the possible seventh fights a player can run into. The fight is won when the Miniboss, Razor, is defeated.
Strategy
The battle with the Wild Hogs is a perilous one, as defeating the Hogs one by one causes the Hogs' and Warthogs' damage to increase multiplicatively. For instance, defeating one of the initial three Hogs causes the other two and the Warthog to gain one Frenzy, leading to them dealing more total damage than if that Hog was not defeated at all. While it might seem like crowd control via effects like Barrage or Overburn is the answer, Razor turns the game on its head and is most cleanly defeated if none of the other enemies is defeated. Razor attacks often and deals decent damage, which will quickly grow out of control if the player cannot defeat it first or beat it down once its Frenzy count gets too high.
Anything with Barrage or Teeth is perfect for defeating multiple Hogs at once in the early waves of the fight. However, the deck must also have an answer to the Warthogs, either by defeating them before the Hogs (which is difficult due to [[Stats#Keywords|Smackback) or by countering their Smackback so it is safe to take them out once the Hogs are no longer needling the team. Some counters to the Warthogs include using high-damage Items, inflicting Snow or Ink to nullify Smackback, and inflicting Demonize and Bom to take them down quickly without too many counterattacks.
Razor demands that the player focus primarily on damaging only it, as killing any of its Hog vanguard makes it significantly stronger. Ink negates Razor's Wild ability and thus prevents it from gaining any Frenzy. Its Resist Snow makes it difficult to stall, although even a single turn gained from Snow might be the difference between a win and a loss.
Notably, the fight with the Wild Hogs can be almost completely trivialized with consistently-applied Frost, as all their attacks are very weak, thus leaving only the Warthogs as threats. Similarly, the Heartmist Station completely heals all damage dealt by the Hogs and can buy a significant amount of time.
